I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical and Toxicological Analysis, and later my PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. My research centered on photoactive polymer nanomaterials (nanofiber membranes or nanoparticles), mainly focusing on photogenerated singlet oxygen for applications in medicine, particularly the photodynamic inactivation of pathogens. This research led to the establishment of the spin-off company LAM-X in 2020.
I then began my postdoctoral fellowship in the group of Professor P. R. Ogilby at Aarhus University in Denmark. There, we attempted to address the key issue of organic solar cells, the photooxidative stability.
I later briefly returned to Charles University, after which I joined the Dynamic Systems Chemistry group at the beginning of 2026.
