I started to study at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague in 2017 a bachelor study programme – drug manufacture and synthesis. I graduated in 2020 with Red diploma. I was developing and preparing new types of photoswitches such as azobenzenes and stilbens with electron-donating groups for potential biological application in my bachelor’s thesis. My master thesis was devoted to the synthesis of acylhydrazones, azo compounds and alkenes and the study of the behaviour after irradiation. I graduated in 2022 with Red diploma and joined the group.
We are developing new systems for homogenous and heterogenous catalysis of selected radical reactions. Apart from academic career, I also devote my time to the work in the pharmaceutical company Zentiva Group where I am part of the pharmacovigilance team.
